Restaurateur Danny Meyer (of Gramercy Tavern and Shake Shack fame) is officially in the pizza game: Eater NY goes inside Meyer's hotly anticipated Roman pizzeria, Marta, which opens its doors tonight. Chef Nick Anderer — who's also in the kitchen at Meyer's upscale Italian restaurant Maialino — has shipped in a custom Grillworks grill to offer dishes like slow-roasted lamb and beer-brined half-chickens, in addition to the menu of pizzas, breakfast-only sourdough bruschette, and more.
