Tavern on the Green Shuffle; Savor Borgata Weekend

NEW YORK CITY— After garnering a few unfavorable reviews, chef Katy Sparks has left the Tavern on the Green revamp, just four months after the restaurant's re-opening. Eater NY reports the split was "amicable" and that Sparks plans to "return to my own work." The iconic NYC restaurant recently earned a zero-star review from Eater's Ryan Sutton, who called a mac-and-cheese dish "surely one the worst things anyone can eat outside of Rikers." [Eater NY]

ATLANTIC CITY— Tickets are now on sale for the Atlantic City's annual culinary celebration Savor Borgata, which takes place November 7 and 8. The main tasting event, Street Eats, will feature celebrity chefs like Wolfgang Puck, Bobby Flay, and Geoffrey Zakarian. The line-up also offers a culinary series, classes, and booze-tasting events, like a "Bourbon and BBQ" pairing and a "Margarita Madness" cocktail party. More information here. [EaterWire]

BEVERLY HILLS— The city of Beverly Hills will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its farmer's market with Sharing the Bounty, a collaborative dinner featuring chefs from nearby Spago, Bouchon, and Crustacean, among others.
