The owner of Bangkok's popular Krua Apsorn restaurant sits down with Coconuts TV to give a quick primer on proper Thai table manners. First off, eating with chopsticks and forks is a Western thing: "The spoon is the main utensil when we eat Thai food," says restaurateur Apsorn Gumnurdmanee. "Many Westerners use the fork with rice, which usually leads to an unsuccessful result." One similarity with Western eating styles, however, comes with the noise level: "We don't eat loudly like the Chinese or Japanese." Go, watch:
