Sorry bottomless bowls of pasta-lovers, you're out of luck when it comes to acquiring one of Olive Garden's Never Ending Pasta Passes. CNN reports that the chain is cracking down on passes purchased on eBay: It's working with the auction site to warn bidders that the passes can't actually be resold.
Enterprising sellers took to eBay earlier this week to resell the $100 pasta passes — which sold out in an hour — for up to $300. For those who have already purchased a pass, a spokesperson for Olive Garden's parent company Darden says that they "should call the company to find out how to proceed." The spokesperson also promised that the chain is "going to make things right." Turns out the passes are actually "personalized" with the name of the original buyer, so no other person can use it. Thankfully, pass or no pass, it's still possible to stuff yourself with baskets of breadsticks.
