Welcome to Roy Choi's not-so-secret garden: Eater LA takes a look inside the chef's hotly anticipated new project, Commissary, a "vegetable-focused" (but not vegetarian) restaurant inside the Line Hotel. And it's a stunner: The rooftop restaurant sits inside a greenhouse and overlooks Whilshire Boulevard in what Eater LA calls an "off-kilter country-club vibe."
In an Instagram post announcing the opening, Choi called the concept his attempt at "mak[ing] vegetables relevant to a new generation by just making them fun and challenging classicism in America by building a country club for the public." Commissary joins three other Choi concepts in the Koreatown hotel (POT, POT Bar, and CaFe).
