Chefs Play With Fire; Martha Stewart's American Made

HUDSON VALLEY— Chefs like April Bloomfield, Sean Brock, Jamie Bissonnette and more (known collectively as "The Northern Chef Alliance") will converge upon the Hudson Valley for a fiery event on August 17. Play With Fire, at Hudson, New York's Fish & Game Farm, will see 10 chefs roasting and grilling through the farm's 175-acre fields during the daylong event, which also welcomes guests with a half-dozen mixologists and live music. NEW YORK CITY— Queen of domesticity Martha Stewart will hold her third-annual American Made celebration in NYC on November 7 and 8. The event, which ostensibly toasts the 2014 winners of Stewart's American Made Awards, features a kick-off cocktail party, an artisan market, and discussion panels led by Stewart.
