Watch Morgan Spurlock's Take on the Heart Attack Grill

New, 1 comment

7 Deadly Sins, the new show by documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock (Super Size Me), makes its debut tonight on Showtime: unsurprisingly, each episode is devoted to Spurlock's take on a different sin. Tonight's premiere focuses on gluttony, and with that in mind, Spurlock visits Las Vegas's infamous Heart Attack Grill, which restaurant owner Jon Basso (pictured above) describes as "purposely designed to be offensive. It's absolutely as unhealthy as possible."

The clip takes a look at the restaurant's 9,983-calorie "Quadruple Bypass" burger, its butterfat shakes, and lard-fried French fries. And like its subject matter, 7 Deadly Sins's aesthetic is delightfully over-the-top. Go, watch:
