Her work focuses on dining trends and the people changing the industry — and scouting the next hot restaurant you need to try on Eater's annual Best New Restaurant list.

The world's number one ranked restaurant is looking for a new pastry chef. A job posting on Noma's website reveals that chef René Redzepi's Copenhagen restaurant is looking for someone to "be in charge of daily operations in the pastry section." But what does this mean for Noma's long-time pastry chef Rosio Sanchez?

While a rep for Noma wouldn't say more than that "Rosio and René have plans together" and that it is "it's time for her not to be so involved with the pastry section at the restaurant." Sanchez, who has listed research & development under her duties in her Twitter bio, may be spending some more time in Noma's science bunker perhaps, but it also looks like Redzepi and Sanchez have other plans in the works.

Earlier this year, Redzepi told Travel & Leisure that he and Sanchez want to open a taco shop in Copenhagen together called Hija de Sanchez. There's no word yet on the progress there, but presumably that's what Sanchez is up to next. More as it becomes available.
