Here's Tacolicious: Festive Recipes for Tacos, Snacks, Cocktails, and More, the first cookbook from the team behind Bay Area mini-chain Tacolicious. With three San Francisco locations and one in Palo Alto, Tacolicious is a more of a Mexico City-style taco shop than a California one (they don't serve burritos, for example). What they do serve, as the name might imply, is plenty of tacos, both traditional and more modern.
So the cookbook, written by co-owner and food writer Sara Deseran, is basically a professional guide to throwing a taco party. Any kind of taco you can imagine, including vegetarian options, are here, as are guides to buying excellent tortillas, all manner of salsa recipes, and margaritas galore. Photos are by Alex Farnum.
