Screen Shot 2014-08-20 at 4.36.36 PM.pngChicago's Department of Health has been using a new bot to alert it to instances of food borne illnesses that are posted to social media sites and Yelp, reports Popular Science. The bot works by tracking keywords like "food poisoning," which officials then assess. If a user's post sounds relevant, they refer the user to the Chicago Department of Public Health's online food poisoning report form. [PopSci]
