Starbucks' Pumpkin Spice Latte Returns Early This Year

Starbucks is releasing its popular Pumpkin Spice Latte earlier this year, according to an announcement posted to its official Twitter account. The drink, full of the flavors of warm spice and orange squash, will be available at Starbucks locations as of August 25, which is just 10 days away.

Yes, the Pumpkin Spice Latte has its own Twitter account with 16,400 followers. How far its come, the comforting PSL: Back in 2012, Starbucks faced an actual shortage of Pumpkin Spice Lattes and people seriously freaked out about the whole thing. Last year, vegans petitioned Starbucks to develop a dairy-free version. And then the world was somewhat unsurprised to discover that there was no actual pumpkin in the orange-tinged coffee beverage. Sales have not suffered.
