Starbucks is currently testing "small batch" cold brewed coffee on the down low. According to Starbucks Melody, the coffee behemoth is offering it at a handful of Boston-area stores and only for a couple of weeks. The coffee, which is made from a single-origin Ethiopian bean, is brewed for 24 hours in a Toddy cold brewer. When it comes to its coffee game, Starbucks has somehow fallen behind chicken chain Chik-fil-A, which announced earlier this week it that it is now slinging cold brewed coffee made from "socially responsible" beans.
