McDonalds-150.jpgYet-another legal/legislative decision could prove helpful for fast-food workers protesting for a living wage: State lawmakers in California have passed SB 610, which amends the state's current requirements and conditions for owners of franchises like McDonald's. According to Time, the bill negates franchisees' fears "about the threat of contract termination" should they choose to increase worker pay or provide additional benefits. The bill is expected to pass in the California senate. [Time] [Photo]
