New York Times restaurant critic Pete Wells visits Giada De Laurentiis' eponymous Las Vegas restaurant, and... oh boy, he was not a fan. Among plates of "flaccid" bucatini and a "stack of browned, dry chicken pieces" (ostensibly chicken cacciatore) comes the most damning sign for Giada's Italian aspirations: a margherita pizza that "might have come from the children's menu of any restaurant in America except an Italian one."
