Eater Inside

Eater Austin gets a first look inside famed Franklin Barbecue's new smokehouse. The building will be able to service more customers thanks to a "new rotisserie rib cooker (named Bethesda)." Staff are happy about the new freight elevator too; previously thousands of pounds of meat had to be lifted by hand to the outside cookers. A take-out window is also in the works. [Eater Austin]
