Watch Katy Perry Sing Next to Twerking Ice Cream Cones

In Katy Perry's new music video for "This Is How We Do," released today, viewers are treated to fun illustrations of pizza, watermelon, and twerking ice cream cones. The decidedly '80s-era vibe is complimented by the sunny spirit of Southern California: Perry even makes mention of Santa Barbara, Calif.-based taqueria La Super Rica and Wildcats bar. (La Super Rica is known as one of the late Julia Child's favorite restaurants.)

Of course, this isn't Perry's first use of food imagery in her music videos: The video for her single "Birthday" was centered around cake-baking, while her 2010 hit "California Gurls" featured the now-iconic image of icing shooting out of Perry's cupcake bra.
