President Obama Eats Barbecue Again in Kansas City

Our fancy sushi-loving Starbucks-drinking president made a stop in Kansas City yesterday to eat barbecue. According to Reuters, President Barack Obama dined at the famed Arthur Bryant's with four residents who "have written him with their concerns about the economy." The leader of the free world placed a simple order for a "half-slab of ribs," fries, a bottle of water, and a Bud Lite.

The photo above also shows him drinking something out of a Big Gulp-like cup which probably wouldn't make former NYC mayor and soda slayer Michael Bloomberg or his health championing wife happy. The President clearly has an affinity for barbecue: Earlier this month, Obama made headlines for skipping the line at the notoriously mobbed Franklin Barbecue in Austin, Texas and eating his $300 order on Air Force One.
