Watch Chef Andy Ricker Make Perfect Sticky Rice

In this new video chef Andy Ricker — who is known for his Thai cooking at Pok Pok in Portland and New York City — demonstrates how to make a proper batch of sticky rice. No fancy gadgets are needed, just a pot of boiling water and some pretty awesome looking bamboo baskets for steaming. Less than 30 minutes and a handful of steps later, Ricker shows off a large pot of rice that's sticky but doesn't "stick to your fingers." Go, order some Thai food before you watch, by the end you're going to be craving it:
