Voodoo Doughnut Fires Employee For Smashing Doughnuts on Customer's Car

An employee of the Voodoo Doughnut Too shop in Portland, Oregon has been fired for smashing two doughnuts into a customer's windshield on purpose, writes Eater Portland. According to KGW that the customer walked out of the store to find "someone putting two big doughnuts underneath" his windshield wipers. The employee in question apparently told the customer that he was not parked in a parking spot and the "doughnutting" was "his way of pay back."

The customer told KGW that another employee had told him to park where he did so that it would be easier for him to pick up his large $2,000 order. The manager emailed the customer to apologize: "As a shop manager, I do my best not to hire morons, but in this case I failed." The manager also offered the customer a dozen free doughnuts, every month, for a year. Go, watch the local news story:
