Crumbs, the ailing cupcake chain that shuttered its stores two weeks ago, will not reopen 21 of its shops, even if the company is saved. These locations — many of which are located in New Jersey and Massachusetts — "were the most unprofitable." This means that even under a new owner, only "a maximum of 27 current stores will re-open."
