The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Opens in Japan

Japan now has its very own Wizarding World of Harry Potter. According to Jaunted, Universal Studios Japan recently opened the park in Osaka, featuring many of the same attractions as the original Harry Potter park, Hogsmeade, which debuted Orlando in 2010. The park's website notes that like in Orlando, visitors can stop by The Three Broomsticks, a tavern from Harry Potter series, to drink Butterbeer or eat "traditional British dishes" like shepard's pie and fish and chips.

Butterbeer will also be available alongside a selection of draft beers at Hog's Head, a "dubious" pub that is adjacent to The Three Broomsticks. There is also a Honeydukes location where people can find "sweets from the Harry Potter stories" including Bertie Bott's Every-Flavour Beans and Chocolate Frogs. Sadly, unlike the recently opened Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley theme park at Universal Orlando, there is no version of Florean Fortescue's Ice-Cream Parlor, which serves a soft-serve ice cream version of Butterbeer.
