NASHVILLE— Nashville's annual Music City Food + Wine Festival (which was formerly known as Music City Eats) announced its chef line-up last month, but today, it reveals the specific panels where chefs like Ashley Christensen, Michael Symon, and Andrew Zimmern will talk about food and music. Of note: Kings of Leon's Caleb Followill joins chefs Amanda Freitag and Tandy Wilson to talk about kitchen playlists, while chefs Tim Love and Aarón Sánchez will swap "road stories" about their culinary travels. CALIFORNIAHuy Fong Foods' Sriracha factory will hold special "open houses" this August during what the facility calls "pepper grinding season," the only time when guests can watch the full start-to-finish process for making the cultishly beloved hot sauce. Pepper season tours are available on August 22 and 23, and according to LAist, features a "Sriracha-themed appetizer sampling." Reservations are available here. [LAist]
