SAN SEBASTIAN— Registration is now open for the 2014 edition of San Sebastian Gastronomika, the annual conference that highlights Basque and Spanish cooking. This year's theme brings Italy into the mix as the "guest country," with Italian chefs like Massimo Bottura and Massimiliano Alajmo joining their Spanish colleagues Juan Mari Arzak, Andoni Luis Aduriz, Joan Roca, and more for the chef congress. The event, scheduled for October 5 to 8, will offer tastings, an artisan market, an "open doors master class," and more. Information here. [EaterWire]
