Last week CNBC unearthed a trademark application for "No Tech Tuesdays" by Applebee's from way back in March. It resulted in headlines like "Shhh! Quiet dining as Applebee's goes tech-free -- but only one day a week." Bloomberg's Venessa Wong reached out to Applebee's and got this response: "Like many brands, we file many phrases for protection.
