At right, the cover of New York City chef Gabrielle Hamilton's eagerly anticipated upcoming cookbook, Prune. Named after her restaurant in New York's East Village, the book features "signature recipes" from the restaurant.

There's not a whole lot of information available on the book, although according to Amazon it clocks in at a massive 576 pages. When the book deal was announced back in 2012, the publisher's language mentioned 250 recipes. That is many, many recipes. Hamilton's 2012 memoir, Blood, Bones, and Butter, was a New York Times bestseller. The Prune cookbook will be published by Random House November 4 (pre-order on Amazon).
