Miami's fried chicken hotspot Yardbird Southern Table & Bar will soon open an outpost in Las Vegas: Eater Vegas reports restauranteur John Kunkel's Southern concept will open inside the Venetian, occupying 8,000 square feet to build out a 180-seat dining room and "special on-site ice room" for mixologists to "harvest" ice. Yardbird Vegas plans an early 2015 opening, and in the meantime, "the restaurant group teases that it does plan additional expansions nationwide as well." [Eater Vegas]
