Watch Jon Favreau Talk Chef and Brisket on Conan

Actor/director Jon Favreau stopped by Conan last night to talk about his new film Chef. He admits that working on the film got him so into cooking that he replaced his home kitchen with a commercial kitchen and even has three smokers in his backyard ("it's a good midlife crisis hobby for a guy"). Favreau then hilariously whips out a little plastic bag of brisket he's smoked himself for host Conan O'Brien joking, "This is what is known as a dime bag of brisket."

Favreau goes on to explain the reason Chef has so much cursing it in is because that is how it is in real kitchens: "Kitchens are R-rated places … it's like you're working on the deck of a pirate ship." But all the swearing makes the movie an R-rated family film which he quips, "isn't the best business model." Go, watch the clips:
