Here's a series of preview clips from the upcoming season finale of Anthony Bourdain's CNN show Parts Unknown. Bourdain and his crew fly down to Bahia, Brazil, which he describes on his Tumblr as "mystical, magical, [and] incredibly colorful." After spending nearly a year traveling, Bourdain writes that he just wanted to shoot a "low impact" episode "someplace warm where the music is always good and the water's fine." He manages to do just that by drinking caipirinhas on the beach, made-to-order by men who are "indispensable icons of Brazilian beach culture."
The vibe may be relaxed, but the eating is adventurous: Bourdain tries a risky poisonous blowfish dish, semi-melted cheese from a beach vendor, and waits in a very long line for falafel-like acarajé, a dish topped with so much dendê oil that "if you're a rookie, you're guaranteed some time on the porcelain bus." The season finale in Bahia, Brazil airs Sunday, June 8 on CNN. Go, watch:
