San Francisco restaurant Fleur de Lys, which is helmed by chef and co-owner Hubert Keller, will close this month, reports Eater SF. According to a note on the restaurant's website, the team has "decided it's time to turn a page in our lives and close Fleur de Lys for good."
Inside Scoop SF notes that Fleur de Lys has been open for over 40 years since Maurice Rouas (who passed away in 2012) opened the restaurant in 1970. Keller has been at the restaurant for over 28 years. Fleur de Lys held four stars (the highest rating) from the San Francisco Chronicle for many years, up until 2007. If you want a chance to dine at the storied restaurant, go soon: The last dinner service will be Saturday, June 28.
