Last night on the Colbert Report host Stephen Colbert weighed in on the backlash against open carry activists bringing large firearms into restaurants. A growing number of restaurants like Chipotle and Chili's are now requesting customers to not bring guns into their establishments to which Colbert quips, "It's a domino effect ... I just hope this doesn't spread to Domino's because I really like to have a gun on hand after I eat one cause I feel like killing myself." Colbert adds that these restaurants are now forcing people to "make the hardest choice any American can face" by asking them to choose between "high powered weaponry and fried food," noting that "both are deadly, but only one comes with melted cheese."
