Joe Bastianich and Tim Love's Restaurant Startup Premieres July 8

Restaurateur Joe Bastianich and Fort Worth chef Tim Love's new show Restaurant Startup will premiere on July 8 on CNBC according to a press release. The eight episode show, which was announced two months ago under the name of Restaurant Kickstart, pits Bastianich and Love against each other as they "vie to invest their own money in restaurant concepts they believe could make them millions." Consultant Waylynn Lucas (of Bravo's Eat, Drink, Love) will work with contestants to put together a pop-up restaurant in 36 hours with $7,500 after which Bastianich and Love will decided whether they want to invest or not.
