Since it looks like no one eats normal burgers anymore, Red's True Barbecue in England is offering a burger that apparently features 17 types of beef and is aptly named The Holy Cow. According to the restaurant's Facebook page, the burger will be available for one day only at its Leeds and Manchester locations. The beefy creation features a house-made pretzel bun topped with beef in many forms including pulled 12 hour smoked beef rib, beef bacon, sliced mustard pickled tongue, and a patty made from pulled oxtail and ox cheek with diced ox heart and ox liver.
The burger is served with fries that are "thrice cooked" in beef drippings and served with a pulled beef Ragu sauce for dipping. Just incase that wasn't enough cow, the burger also comes with a Bloody Mary made with a beef tomato consommé and "jerky shards." According to Metro UK, the burger is priced at £25 ($41.88 USD) and contains 2,500 calories. A limited number of the burgers will only be available on Father's Day (June 15) just in case you wanted to gift your dad a heart attack.
The types of beef found across the burger, fries, and Bloody Mary are as follows: Carpaccio, brisket, steak burger, oxtail, ox cheek, ox heart, ox liver, tongue, beef jus, beef rib, wagyu, beef bacon, jerky shards, beef drippings, and pulled beef ragu. Which totals 15. What are the two mystery meats? See the full list of burger toppings below:
