MAD's Young Chef Grant; Beard House at RN74 Seattle

COPENHAGEN— The MAD crew has announced the launch of its new MAD Grant, which will provide funds for 10 young chefs to attend the annual MAD Symposium. Recipients will receive full access to the symposium, as well as travel and accommodation expenses, and the grant committee is seeking representation from chefs under 30 years of age "from all over the world." SEATTLE— Seattle's RN74 will celebrate its third anniversary on June 15 by welcoming the James Beard House's roving "Celebrity Chef Tour." Chefs Jamie Bissonette (Boston/NYC), Jason Barwikowski (PDX), Matthew Jennings (Rhode Island), and Jason Franey (Seattle's Canlis) will team with RN74's Adam Sobel and David Varley for the multi-course meal.
