Here's the "Bisnut" from fast-food chain Carl's Jr.: Unsurprisingly given its awkward name, it's a "hybrid" biscuit and doughnut, if that's what you can call an icing-and-sprinkles-topped-biscuit with a hole in the center. Carl's Jr. chief marketing officer Brad Haley told Eater the item was inspired by "other doughnut mash-ups becoming cult hits around the country," and like the cronut, it's only available in limited qualities: Southern California locations are currently acting as the test market.
