Writer and Twitter aficionado Ruth Reichl is on the cover of the soon-to-be released third issue of biannual food magazine Cherry Bombe. The "Girl Crush"-themed issue cover features the former Gourmet editor smiling while grasping what looks to be a giant sundae, complete with a cherry on top.
Reichl, who recently released her first fiction novel, called Cherry Bombe "this year's publication" in her 2013 gift guide. She was also a headliner at the magazine's inaugural Jubilee conference earlier this year.
Previous cover girls include model and cookie line creator Karlie Kloss and vegan bakery owner Erin McKenna (BabyCakes NYC). Cherry Bombe tweets that the issue "will be shipped to newsstands, bookstores, and subscribers later this week."
