"If there were 100 [eating] contests, all with different foods, I would win 90 of them," says Takeru Kobayashi — inarguably the world's most famous competitive eater — in the new documentary on competitive eating, Hungry. Is competition in excess the American motto?

Set to be released tomorrow, Hungry looks into what competitive eaters do to their bodies to prepare for the quick consumption of thousands of calories. There's a psychological element that keeps these determined eaters motivated, but at the end of the day it isn't pretty, and may in fact be as dangerous as it seems. Hungry will be released on Video On Demand tomorrow. Go watch:
