Following a reported $40.3 million loss last August, Atlantic City's struggling Revel Casino filed for bankruptcy protection today, reports The New York Times. The $2.4 billion casino is now on the auction block. Employees have been warned that the property could close as soon as August 18 if a buyer does not come forward. [NYT]
