Here are your Wednesday morning book deals, as reported by Publishers Marketplace. Stuart Brioza and Nicole Krasinski, the James Beard Award-winning chef duo behind the essential San Francisco restaurant State Bird Provisions, are releasing their debut cookbook with Ten Speed Press. Titled The Workshop, the book is about "creativity in the kitchen" and promises to teach readers "how to 'workshop' any ingredient." The book also reveals "the secret" to their famed sauerkraut pancakes. No release date has been announced yet.
Next up, 2014 James Beard Chef of the Year and founder of LA's acclaimed Pizzeria Mozza Nancy Silverton is once again teaming up with food writer Carolynn Carreño to write a cookbook titled Mozza at Home. The book will be published by Knopf and will feature "recipes developed while cooking for family and friends in Italy and L.A." This means that there will be 100 "Italian market-inspired dishes" best suited for the home cook. There are no details regarding a release date yet.
Pastry chef François Payard, who owns bakeries in New York, Las Vegas, Japan, and Korea, is writing another cookbook. Called Payard's Cookies, the book will center on cookie recipes from his "celebrated patisseries." It will be published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and there's no word yet as to a release date.
Lastly, the duo behind design startup Pop Chart Lab, former Gotham editor Patrick Mulligan and former Penguin designer Ben Gibson, will release a book called A Visual Guide to Drink. It will be published by Gotham and the book will feature "an infographic collection of charts, graphs, maps, and designed data on beer, wine, and spirits," No release date has been given yet.
