CNN has been proudly proclaiming that Anthony Bourdain's Parts Unknown is the "number one program in cable news," but crunching the numbers makes that declaration a little fuzzy. TVNewser points out that CNN's reported ratings includes a "blend" of DVR viewer data, and while the blended number does beat that of The O'Reilly Factor, Parts' short season gives it an advantage: O'Reilly's blended data boasts impressive numbers considering it includes 37 airings, compared to just eight for Parts Unknown.
