Meredith Gallagher, the 28-year-old GM of Boston's Menton, has fans. Enthusiastic ones, like a reader who emailed to praise Gallagher's memory at the door and strong sense of hospitality. Another is Richard Coraine of Union Square Hospitality Group, who gave the Young Gun semi-finalist a glowing endorsement: "She has left her mark in an outstanding way in each of her positions," he wrote. Gallagher hails from North Carolina, but has quickly risen up in the industry in Boston, where she's worked at some of the city's most beloved restaurants, like Radius and Craigie on Main.
