Resy, the restaurant reservations app created by Gary Vaynerchuk (Uber) and Ben Leventhal (co-founder of Eater), launches today, reports the NY Times. For all of the avid diners waiting to get an invite into the app, there are several high profile restaurateurs who are fully against the idea of a paid reservation, no matter how coveted. Anthony Rudolf, who previously ran the dining rooms at Jean-Georges and Per Se, said: "It changes the whole experience of hospitality if you are paying before you get through the door." [NYT]
