A growing number of restaurants and reservation sites are offering discounts and special menus to customers who are willing to eat dinner during earlier time slots, reports the WSJ. Restaurateur Nick Kokonas (Next, Alinea) sells tickets for meals outside of prime-time hours at discount of up to $65 noting, "It's no different than going to a matinee."
