Here's the first episode of chef and TV personality Mario Batali's new show on Hulu, The High Road. It's a little bit like Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, but shot in black-and-white, without the fancy cars (Batali will mostly travel via NYC tour bus), and not as funny.
The first show features news person George Stephanopoulos, who dons a pair of orange Crocs and then accompanies Batali on a joyride around the city. They play shuffleboard in Brooklyn and follow it with a snack of sugar on snow. The 12-episode run features a different famous person each week; Jimmy Fallon and former NY Times restaurant critic Frank Bruni are two of the confirmed guests. Go watch:
