Here's a series of preview clips from the upcoming Russia episode of Anthony Bourdain's CNN show Parts Unknown. A tweet from Bourdain indicates the show is going to be entertaining: "It will probably be inadvisable for me to travel to Russia again after this episode." The episode marks the return of Bourdain's notorious sidekick Zamir Gotta and the two go on plenty of hilarious adventures. They take a ride on a horse-drawn sleigh through a snowy forest, catch a midnight train to St. Petersburg on which they feast on caviar and pickled herring, and trash talk as they race each other down a mountain on skis.
Bourdain writes on his Tumblr that they also drank like mad men as they pondered the Russia of president Vladimir Putin: "When I'm back in New York, rare is the time I even go out to a bar for a leisurely cocktail. But when Zamir is around? It's like nuclear fission. Two elements who, when they get together, blow shit up. It's why I do shows with Zamir so infrequently. Because after drinking vodka so steadily, and in such quantities, for a week or more, I need a few years off." The Russia episode airs Sunday, May 11 on CNN. Go, watch:
