Here's a piece about eating at the communal table in the private dining room at Noma in Copenhagen (it started in January "to open up more space to smaller parties"). The restaurant's director of operations was asked to estimate how many reservation requests they get: "Hundreds? Thousands? Tens of thousands, I egged him." His answer: "We have stopped counting."
