The Wall Street Journal investigates the sometimes costly process of Neapolitan pizza certification (VPN) from the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana. Apparently there's only 76 US restaurants that have the certification (check out a price index of some of those pizzerias), and just as impressive as the $2,000 application fee is the WSJ's stipple drawing of Neapolitan pizza.
