Week in Reviews: Maude Edition

LA Weekly critic Besha Rodell files a glowing review of Australian TV personality/Top Chef Masters judge Curtis Stone's LA restaurant Maude, giving it four stars (out of five). Rodell begins by noting some skepticism about a chef more famous for his TV roles than for his cooking, but writes, "Maude's seasonal menus have been some of the most subtly thrilling meals I've had in Los Angeles."
