Because the Swiss Alps shouldn't get all the fun, a new California resort is also delivering bottles of Champagne to guests via an unmanned drone: Hotel Chatter reports Sausalito, California's Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa delivers bottles of Champagne via drone to its second-story, $10,000-per-night Alexandrite suite.
On its Facebook page, Casa Madrona says the drone is available through a "special order" with the sales department — so it's not included in the $10k nightly price tag — but is meant to celebrate the hotel's blending of "luxury and technology." And of course, there's a (shaky) video of the drone in action on YouTube:
