Spotted Pig Taking Reservations; Lee Brothers in NYC

NEW YORK CITY— For the first time in its 10-year history, April Bloomfield's hotspot the Spotted Pig will take reservations (albeit, for a limited time only). Eater NY reports Bloomfield and partner Ken Friedman will offer dinner reservations from May 19 through June 2, with the reservation wire going live Monday, May 12. Friedman tells Eater NY the gastropub's 10th anniversary spawned the idea: "There are a lot of people my age who haven't been to the Spotted Pig," Friedman says. BROOKLYN— Cookbook experts Matt Lee and Ted Lee (better known as the Lee Brothers) will bring their popular Cookbook Camp retreats to New York City for the first time. The retreats will take place in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in two separate sessions: June 15 through 17 (for working chefs) and June 18 through 21 (for writers and other industry professionals).
