Watch the Trailer for Next's Modern Chinese Menu

Here's the teaser for the new Modern Chinese menu at the perpetually-changing Next in Chicago. (Check out the restaurant's other recent menu trailers for elBulli, Bocuse d'Or, or Chicago Steak.) Chef Grant Achatz and brand new Beard winner executive chef Dave Beran both make appearances in the trailer by Christian Seel which is a montage of images set to a Chinese rap song by Soft Lipa. There are images of urban China with plenty of long-exposure highway shots, street markets, tall buildings, streams of street food, and glossy Peking ducks. Those photos are interspersed with images of the Next team back in Chicago preparing the menu which appears to include a giant fortune cookie, hand pulled noodles, and dish served out of a halved fresh coconut. Tickets for the menu are currently on sale. Go, watch:
